She untied the silk bow and opened the lid. Myriads of weightless wings fluttered from the bottom, scattering along the branches of blooming jasmine, merging with the intoxicating petals.
Several butterflies remained dozing on the flowers of a fancy snow-white bouquet in the depths of the box. One of them sat on a miniature postcard. The girl carefully drove away the morning fairy, barely blowing on the velvet fans so that the insect smoothly moved to the other fugitives.
